Alsace Varietals Festival

This is an annual event held every Spring in the Anderson Valley at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville.  This is a two-day event with wine and food pairings on Saturday, as well as educational seminars throughout the day, ending with a celebrity Chef Winemakers dinner.  On Sunday, the wineries and vineyards host open houses for wine enthusiasts to enjoy the wonderful experience of winemaking in the Anderson Valley.

Pinot Noir Festival

This is perhaps the grandest wine event annually held in the Anderson Valley, hosted by the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association.  The event begins on a Friday in May, with an all day Tech Conference where winemakers, press and other wine enthusiasts gather to learn, share and discover the making of this fine wine.  On Saturday, the Grand Tasting is held in the center of Goldeneye Vineyards and over 40 wineries make their very best pinot noir wines available for sampling along with a variety of food pairings.  On Sunday, prepare to indulge yourself traveling up and down the valley to all the open houses held by the wineries and vineyards of this growing appellation of fine grapes.
